Founded in 2011, iKala is a team focused on AI / Multimedia technologies, having 6 years experience in OTT, and is soon recognized by Google after launch, getting the first “Google Cloud Platform Ready” badge in Asia.

Straas

Straas is a video PaaS platform that enables customers to build their own online video applications without investing heavily into development, saving R&D costs and shortening time to market significantly. Straas is a team of 60 with 30+ experienced engineers specializing in video streaming technologies.

GCP READY

Straas was soon recognized by Google after launch, and got the first “Google Cloud Platform Ready” badge in Asia. Straas was thus further included into Google’s ecosystem by being selected as “Google Cloud Premier Partner” with early access to Google’s latest AI and cloud technologies.

​Straas had successfully raised several rounds of funding from well-known angel investors, Cherubic Ventures, and Gamania. We are also expanding R&D efforts (computer vision, natural language processing, and chatbot), and for building global sales force focusing on video PaaS markets in Southeast Asia, Japan, and Europe.
